Yin Yoga- Yin Yoga goes beyond the muscles to the connective tissue such as ligaments, bones, joints, blood, and fascial networks. By holding postures for several minutes, the nervous system is able to relax as well as the muscles so students begin to still the outer and inner self. Bolsters, blankets, blocks and straps are provided to support the body in postures. Class environment is cozy, warm, and done with dim lights and candle light. A great way to unwind at the end of the day.
Hatha Yoga- In Hatha Yoga, we come into the breath and quiet the mind as we find steadiness in gentle asana and attain increased balance and an enhanced connection to our highest self. Each class provides personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, breath and energy in a supportive environment. Suited for all levels.
Restorative Yoga- This gentle focused practice is suitable for all levels of experience.
